new pieces

We leave next week for Hawaii.
I will not be making too many glass pieces this week. I have a lot to do to get everything in order for us to leave.

I have been missing in action for a few days. My mom is in the hospital so the glass has taken a back seat. I did create a few pieces over the weekend so here they are.

My Mother's Day Gift to me.... A fellow Etsy shop owner and I exchanged gifts. She got one of my necklaces and I got this gorgeous gift basket. The soaps are so incredible smelling! You have to try her shop!

I have been busy-busy...here is what I have been working on.

Our Black lab Cosmo doing what he loves most---playing in the pool with the kids. He will go outside and jump in the pool, get out and do it over and over. He is like another kid.

I made three pieces and have a large amount of pendants in the kiln.

It doesn't look like I will be getting anything listed on Etsy, unless I do it late tonight. Too many activities with the kids today.

I just got the kids pictures today. I think they turned out great.

~Create 3 more pieces
~List yesterday's 3 pieces on Etsy
~Work on pictures for new banner
~Watch DVD on how to use my new camera

I finished my 6 pieces.

Todays Goal:

List all 6 items on Etsy.
Make 2 pieces.
Get glass in the kiln.
Finish Mother's Day piece for a friend.

So far I have three completed (see pictures above).

My favorite is the orange and black piece. The kids and I are fighting about what to call it. They like to help me name my pieces. I think it looks like a mountain scene. Jessica says I MUST call it "Sunset".

I joined a great group called The Creative Glass guild Of Etsy.

I am excited about being a member with so many wonderful artists.
